Who else is ready for Spring?! These last few days of sunshine has made all the difference for me and my kids. Kids are just happier when they get outside, am I right?! This is a super fun activity that's quick to throw together and will keep the kids playing in the driveway for days!
What You'll Need:
-Chalk! That's all!
1: Come up with a bunch of action words.
2: Turn them into actions that will get your kids interested! (i.e. stomp like a dinosaur, hop like a bunny, jump over the water with alligators, climb over the mountain, etc.)
3: Draw the actions in a vertical line on your sidewalk or driveway!
4: Act it out for your kids once or twice, and they'll be doing it over and over until the chalk rubs off!
*Activity Notes:
-If your mind is drawing a blank on action words, try filling in things like "spin in a circle", "follow the line" or "go backwards".
-Let your kids help you color! They'll think it's so fun.
-I like to write what each step is next to it, so that if neighbor kids come by they can join in on the fun!
