Summer Dot Marker Pages

Updated: Jun 15, 2021

We are beyond excited that school's out for summer and we're ready to party in the sunshine!

But if you're like me and like doing a little educational upkeep with your kids over the break, it's nice to have some quick learning activities on hand!

Here's an easy one you can pull out as everyone escapes the heat on a quiet afternoon. Not only does dot marker art foster creativity and promotes early childhood development, but they are a huge hit with the kids! Plus, I personally love how easy to use and (mostly) mess free they are--compared to paint!

Summer Dot Marker Pages

Materials needed:

-Dot markers

-Summer dot worksheets (free pdf download below)

  1. Download and print out dot marker pages.

  2. Have your child pick out a marker of choice and try to encourage them to press the marker directly down on each circle found inside the letters and pictures--creating a colorful dot!

  3. Have them continue making dots until all of the circles are filled and the picture is complete.

*Notes: As they fill in each circle for the letter, have them say its name and sound. Then have your child trace their finger over the first letter of the word at the bottom of each page and emphasize its sound.
